Fin Rot

Fin rot is a disease where the fins or tail start rot off. Don't worry most pet stores have medecines for fin rot.Symptoms are: Rotting fins, loss of appetite,sluggish movements and laying on the bottom of the tank.

Body Fungus

Body fungus is just that,fungus.It will attack your fish's skin and is mainly caused by materials such as decaying food or fish waste(fish poop).Secondary infections are common. Your fish should get prompt treatment or it will most likely die. Symptoms are: White or gray patches appear on skin, gills, or mouth.

Hole in the head

Hole in the head is a very serious disease and should be delt with promptly.

Ick

Ick attacks the skin and gills of the infected fish. It is very contagious so the sick fish should be remove immediately and be treated promptly or the fish could die within a week or two.symptoms are: Fish will scrape against decor,loss of appetite,rapid "breathing",and some white spots on fish's skin.
